ArtiSapiens Study Skills Workshop (Oct–Dec)
Details
The AMPA Entre Palmeras of IES Santa Brígida, with funding from the Corresponsables Plan promoted by the Department of Education led by Adrián García Armas, is launching two training workshops aimed at the town’s young population. The activities will be run by Editorial y Formaciones Kutumpam and will be free of charge. The workshops will be held weekly between the months of October and December, in the afternoon from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and are aimed at young people between 12 and 16 years of age. Families may choose to register participants in one of the workshops or in both. Two workshops The first of the projects, ArtiSapiens, is holding its second edition after the positive reception of the first call. Taught by professionals from different disciplines, the workshop combines study and organizational techniques with methodologies based on art and play. The proposal aims to provide young people with practical tools to improve their study habits and to face the different stages of their education with more resources, especially Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate. At the same time, it seeks to develop skills that may be useful in their future academic, professional and personal paths. The sessions will be held on Tuesdays. On Thursdays, the Book Creation Workshop will be held, a hands-on proposal that will allow participants to discover from the inside the process of producing a publication. Through creative writing, illustration (with techniques such as watercolor and comics), layout and bookbinding, young people will experience all the phases needed to create a book from scratch. Taught by professionals from the publishing sector, the workshop aims to bring participants closer to the world of books. ✍🏻 Registration Interested persons can complete their enrollment through the registration form (santabrigida.es) or request information by phone or WhatsApp on 650 988 468 and via email at hola@kutumpam.com
