👉 Training Plan 2026: management of organic waste in livestock farms Training for more sustainable, efficient livestock farming that is committed to making the most of resources. 📅 Registration open until 28 September 2026. Places: 20 people 📍 Experimental Agricultural Farm of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria – Arucas. From 5 to 7 October 2026 🕓 Schedule: 16:00 to 21:00. +info: formacionsectorprimario.grancanaria.com 📧 formacionagraria@grancanaria.com Objective: to provide knowledge to correctly manage manure and slurry (their storage, treatment and the conditions for their reuse as fertilizer in agriculture). You will learn about: - Regulations on manure and slurry. - Facilities for their storage and management. - Treatment and transport of manure in Gran Canaria. And much more… Priority selection: holders of livestock farms —or direct family members or employees—, according to the number of LU (livestock units) of the associated farm. Remaining places will be filled in order of registration. Courses may be modified due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the Department.
