A tribute to Valleseco and to Canarian women The cover of the Fiesta de La Encarnación y de La Manzana de Valleseco 2026 is born as a tribute to our land, to our traditions and, especially, to the women who, generation after generation, have kept the cultural heritage of the Canary Islands alive. The large “V” of Valleseco, the apples, the flowers and the baskets of products represent our land, agriculture and the traditional offering from the different districts to the Virgen de La Encarnación, a symbol of unity, generosity and solidarity. Particular prominence is given to Canarian drawn-thread embroidery, an artisanal heritage passed down from generation to generation and especially linked to the hands of our women. Its presence is a recognition of the Canarian woman as guardian, creator and transmitter of our culture and our traditions. A cover that is, ultimately, a tribute to Valleseco and to Canarian women; to our land, to our roots and to all those people who have made it possible for our heritage to continue to be part of who we are.
