Valleseco honors the “Golden Apple” to the Association of Fathers and Mothers Todos Unidos por Ell@s The Town Council recognizes the trajectory of a group born from the commitment of the families of the Occupational Center and dedicated to promoting inclusion, participation and quality of life for people with disabilities. The gala will also include the recognition and delivery of nominative checks to social and cooperation entities that carry out projects of care, solidarity and support for people and communities in situations of vulnerability. The Valleseco Town Council will hold a new edition of the “Golden Apple” Awards next Saturday, September 26, a recognition with which the municipality annually distinguishes careers, initiatives and commitments linked to society and the improvement of people’s quality of life. In this twelfth edition, the distinction will go to the Association of Fathers and Mothers Todos Unidos por Ell@s, linked to the Valleseco Occupational Center. The event will take place from 8:30 p.m. in the Dr. Juan Díaz Rodríguez Auditorium, as part of the festivities of the Virgen de La Encarnación and La Manzana 2026. This is stated in the corresponding municipal file for the 12th Golden Apple Awards. The choice of Todos Unidos por Ell@s focuses on the trajectory of a group closely linked to the families and users of the Occupational Center, and on its contribution to generating spaces for coexistence, participation, leisure and personal development. The gala of the 12th Golden Apple Awards will include this year a second section dedicated to highlighting the work carried out by different social and cooperation entities through projects supported by the Valleseco Town Council. Among them are the Asociación Guardias Civiles Solidarios, the Asociación Provincial de Esclerosis Múltiple Las Palmas, the Fundación Alejandro Da Silva, the Fundación Canaria Pequeño Valiente and Cáritas Diocesana, with different social and cooperation projects.
